I wrote two yrs ago and it was printed. I have been in Kuwait for five years now and I will be back to stay at the Fusion. It is really like home to me. I feel the fish biting my hook as I am sitting here. This place is family run and they care about all your needs even if they don't provide them. They take the time to help you plan your day everyday. I have stayed here about 10 times now and it is the only way I want to be in Playa. Cheep, comfortable, and the best location ever. You can fish every evening out side the hotel from a boat for and hour or two for less than 50 dollars. Dive spot is within walking distance with gear on your back or if your lazy like me they will take it on a trike. I am traveling this time with every nationality god created so I can't wait to see what they all think about my simple idea. :) Cheers

I can not say enough about this place and the price was very reasonable. My cousin and me had the loft room. Kids up stairs made it very nice for piece and quite. I would rather stay here than any big hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff made me feel like I was home big time. I live in Kuwait now and it was almost like a prescription being filled for me. The diving was the best in the world and they made me an underwater movie to prove it. The location is it's best sales pitch for me. Wal-Mart, native shopping area, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, dolphin adventure, caves all within a short distance made me stay an extra week. I rented a car and ended up giving it back because we didn't need it. Everything was so handy we didn't have to use a taxi or our car for anything. Also thanks for letting us use the kitchen and grill for the fish we caught. Coming again in June with all my American friends living in Kuwait.

Fusion hotel provides a very economical way of spending time right at the beach in Playa del Carmen. The rooms are simple but clean, and comfortable for those who are not looking for the --all-inclusive-- experience. The location right at the beach is perfect, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers, especially because the owners want to spend more time and resources fixing things up in the near future.

This hotel was fantastic. I stayed at the Alejari in the summer of '02 and if I ever go back to Playa del Carmen there’s no other place I would rather. The staff was so nice and it’s in a GREAT location.

We stayed at the Alejari hotel in Feb 2004. Great place, friendly staff, fantastic location on beach. Close to main shopping street. Close to nightclubs although can be noisy at times. Great hotel for price, location, beach. Will stay there next time guaranteed. Also free breakfast was great, and afternoon margaritas fantastic.

We loved Alejari hotel - the staff were friendly and professional, the location was fabulous, the beach front rooms very romantic (though some of the neighboring clubs were a little loud). We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
